About The 2022 US Open
The 2022 edition of the United States Open Championship will be the 122nd US Open – the official national open golf tournament in the US of A. The championship is a 72 hole stroke play tournament that is scheduled to be played between the 16th and the 19th of June 2022 at The Country Club in Brookline, which is a suburb west of Boston, Massachusetts. This will be the fourth time that it will be held at this venue.
The field will be made up of players who have gained entry through qualifying events alongside those who are exempt from qualifying. Those who are exempt would include recent major champions, winners of any major amateur event and those players who lead in the world rankings.

So, will Scottie Scheffler manage to get his second win? Well, although on paper he seems a likely candidate, there are some arguments against it. But what? However, his flame seems to be dwindling a bit in the past few weeks.

He started this season with a victory at the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba – and then added a second place to his tally at the Arnold Palmer Invitation. Moreover, he has only missed the cut once this season. This makes him ideal for a long-shot bet. He also ranks third on the PGA Tour in shots gained approaching the green. All this suggests that he is in with a chance of US Open success.
